The BIG TX Battery

I am impressed with the MUCH larger battery from Venom for my DX9 transmitter. It went into the Transmitter perfectly and there was a little extra space which I cushioned with some foam I had on hand. I will be getting another one. I won't run out of juice when flying anymore.

No balance plug

I'm still learning about LiPo batteries, I wish they would explain a little more about storage discharge since there is no balance plug. I like using the LiPo just not sure about these. There other batteries are great and there warranty is true.

Balanceing the 4000 mah 2S battery

How does the balancing work? I use a Hitec Pro charger and one cell registers 0 and the other cell registers as 6.1. Even after going through a fresh charge. Do I just have a bad pattery pack? I am discharging right now and will recharge to see if anything happens.

Spektrum DX9/DX7S/DX8/DX6 Gen 2/3 4000mAh 7.4V Transmitter LiPo Battery by Venom

I bought this battery and had it charged at a local hobby shop because, my Dynamite Sports Duo read (-33-) when I try charging it. My guess is that the charger is looking for a balance lead? Please help me to figure out how to charge this battery.

Spektrum DX9/DX7S/DX8/DX6 Gen 2/3 4000mAh 7.4V Transmitter LiPo Battery by Venom

Well, I had my first flight of this year, total of 103 minutes with my Navigator Hex Chassis. I have the Spectrum DX-8 Radio. When I flew with my original tx battery, for a flight time total of around 30 minutes, the pack voltage would drop considerably. With the new LiPo ,I flew the entire 103 minutes, transmitter pack voltage was 7.7 volts at start, finished at 7.6 volts! VERY PLEASED DEFINATELY WORTH THE INVESTMENT!!!!!!
